Batavia Triathlon and Duathlon - Sunday, June 8th 2014

We are a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide an outlet for Chicago area triathletes to grow their athletic abilities and develop friendships through tri-athletic endeavors and meaningful social contact.

Our members include novices looking for support before completing their first triathlon, Ironman veterans, and everyone in between. The club is run by the members; they organize all the activities‹social events, clinics, and workouts. Our workouts and clinics are geared to multisport athletes of all abilities. Joining the club, and getting to know the other members, is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of triathlons, meet others who are passionate about the sport, and improve your athletic abilities, all while having fun.

Jennifer Harrison Coaching Jennifer Harrison is a professional USAT Level II Certified Triathlon coach in the Chicagoland area. Jennifer has over 15 years of coaching experience with athletes of all levels, and has also competed in over 200 Triathlons and Duathlons since 1995.

Jennifer works with triathletes, swimmers, cyclists and runners to help them attain their goals and have fun all while maintaining balance in their life.

Max Multisport offers one-on-one coaching, group training programs, classes, skills clinics, and camps.

Our club members come from all walks of life including athletic and non-athletic backgrounds, and participate in a range of sports. We have members of all skill levels including seasoned athletes, Ironmen and Ironwomen, beginners, and first-timers. The club is designed to promote the multisport lifestyle and anyone who is willing to participate, add their energy and enthusiasm to the team, and grow as an athlete is welcome!

The Triathlon starts and finishes in the picturesque setting of Prairie Springs Park. Lake Andrea, a sparkling 100-acre spring fed lake, will serve as the venue for the swim portion of our race. The bike course uses picturesque roads within the Village of Pleasant Prairie as well as a new frontage road, with long straight-aways. The run course will take you through Prairie Springs Park, on paved and gravel paths.

Road ID is a durable, rugged, athletic, fashionable line of identification gear. Currently, they offer 6 different forms of ID: the FIXX ID, the Shoe ID, the Ankle ID, the Wrist ID Sport, the Wrist ID Elite, and the Shoe Pouch ID. Road ID provides various forms of ID to allow a person to decide where they want to wear their vital Identification. We encourage active people who participate in outdoor activities to wear ID and not take the chance of being unidentified in the event of an accident. It is far better to wear ID and never need it than to need ID and not have it. To see our various products, please check out our products page.

Our athletes have walked away with new friends, amazing accomplishments and the sense that they did something even more important than getting in good shape.

How serious is blood cancer? Every four minutes, someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every 10 minutes, someone dies.

In exchange for training and support, you help raise money towards cures for blood cancers like leukemia -- the No. 1 disease killer of children -- lymphoma and myeloma.

The mission of TEAM TO END AIDS (T2) is to improve the lives of those who are affected by HIV/AIDS. We do this by raising funds to support the programs of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Through endurance sports, we raise awareness, encourage action, and motivate people to get involved in creating an AIDS-free generation.
